for he has risen up in triumph.

2          The Lord is my refuge and my defence;

he has shown himself my deliverer.

3          He is my God, and I shall glorify him;

my father’s God, and I shall exalt him.

4          Lord, who is like you among the gods?

Who is like you, majestic in holiness.

worthy of awe and praise,

worker of wonders?

5          In your constant love you led the people

whom you had redeemed:

6          you guided them by your strength

to your holy dwelling-place.

7          You will bring them in and plant them

in the mount that is your possession,

the sanctuary

which your own hands established.

8          The Lord will reign for ever and for ever.

Glory to the Father, and to the Son,

and to the Holy Spirit:

as it was in the beginning, is now,

and will be for ever.                                       Amen.

2          there is no God but you,

as everything we have heard bears witness.

3          And your people Israel,

to whom can they be compared?

Is there any other nation on earth

whom you, God,

have set out to redeem from slavery

to be your people?

4          You have won renown for yourself

            by great and awesome deeds,

driving out other nations and their gods

to make way for your people

whom you redeemed from Egypt.

5          You have established your people Israel

as your own for ever,

and you, Lord, have become their God.

Glory to the Father, and to the Son,

10        Final Collect

Vulnerable God,
you challenge the powers
that rule this world,
through the needy,
the compassionate,
and those who are filled with longing.
Make us hunger and thirst to see right prevail,
that we may see your face
and be satisfied in you,
through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Ever present God,

this day enfolds us and surrounds us:

be in our speaking and in our thinking;

be in our life and on our lips;

be in our hearts and in our souls;

today and for ever.

Amen.

11        Conclusion

May the Lord bless us

and guard us;

may the Lord make his face shine on us

and be gracious to us;

may the Lord look kindly on us

and give us peace.

            Amen.
