Call to Prayer…………We have set our hope on the living God who is the saviour of all.
Prayer…….. God, creator, Father, guide: we come before you aware that we take our life from you. You are the source of our breath, our joy our love. You are the one who fashioned the heavens and the earth who fashioned each and every one of us here who put everything in its place in the created order. Thank you O God for your creation, for your moulding us in life that we might see you as Lord & Father of all. Give us grace to worship you, to see you in the great works of the universe & the ordinary every day things. Give us grace to listen to your word that we in coming to this place might be renewed and challenged to see all creation as a witness to your love.
Loving Father we have been given the gift of life with all its beauty & wonder. We have been surrounded by people who love us, who care for us. We have been shown the way to true life is in obedience to your will. Hear us this day as we confess we have failed to follow in your perfect way. Hear us as we confess our sins against you & against our neighbour………… Almighty & most merciful God, grant to us pardon & remission of all our isn, time for the amendment of life, confirm & strengthen us in all goodness & keep us in the life eternal…..
Stir up, O Lord, the wills of your faithful people, that richly bearing the fruit of good works, we may by you be richly rewarded; thru’ Jesus Christ our Lord, who is alive & reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God now and for ever. Amen.
Thanksgiving: Loving God we thank you for creating us in your image. For giving to us men & women who will show us your way & lead us in the road of grace. We thank you for family, teachers, neighbours, friends who by their care for us have made us better people. We thank you that in Christ Jesus you have made us your own. Accept these gifts this day, tokens of our love & gratitude. Use them for the maintenance of faith & the proclamation of the gospel & us as your servants to declare your love alive, thru Jesus Christ your Son who lives & reigns with you the father & the H.S. one God now and for ever. Amen.
